WEN now Leaping Bunny certified

wen bunny WEN now Leaping Bunny certified

On August 1, 2013, the The Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics’ (CCIC) announced the approval of WEN Hair and Body Care by Chaz Dean into their Leaping Bunny Program.

Chaz Dean called the recognition an honor. He stated: “As a devout animal lover myself, it is my heartfelt belief that ethical testing and practices should be a cornerstone of every company’s philosophy, and I am proud to be counted among the ranks of over 500 companies in the Leaping Bunny Program who share my commitment to advocating the compassionate treatment of animals.”

I know WEN has a huge fan base, so I’m thrilled to help spread the word about this great news.

Okay then maybe you can answer this since WEN won’t. How come they don’t put any cruelty free logos or labeling on their packaging? It is a no-brainer but the only reason I can see is that there is an ingredient that you might not know comes from a facility that tests on animals. Why else would you not include cruelty free labeling? It makes no sense and they are already a shady company with their business practices, I wouldn’t put it past them.
