This month, I had the pleasure of receiving the POPSUGAR Must-Have Box. This subscription service compiles POPSUGAR editors’ favorites in skin, hair, style with some misc treats (BBQ potato chips, anyone?) thrown in.
This box included:
A “modern day Jane Austen” style novel. I’ll admit, this isn’t a book I’d pick out on my own, but my mom loves books like this, so I’ll probably pass it along to her. If you’ve read it, what did you think?
The box arrived just before I headed off for a weekend at the beach. brought along my new Turkish T towel and loved it! It’s lightweight and can be used as a wrap/sarong (I looked to Youtube for “how to tie” suggestions). Or you can just throw it over a beach chair and lounge.
I’m always a fan of hair ties that don’t cut off my circulation when they’re on my wrist! These fit the bill. They’re super-stretchy, so they can double as thin head bands.
The founders of You Smell are avid animal activists and lovers – in fact, one of the reasons that founder Megan started the company was because it allowed her the funds to open a cat shelter. They refuse to sell in countries that traditionally eat dogs and cats. Megan also regularly contacts government officials on behalf of animal welfare. Amazing.
Along with the Turkish T towel, the Wet Wipes accompanied me on my beach trip. These alcohol-free, vegan wipes were SO convenient for quickly wiping off sunscreen and sand without having to take multiple showers a day. Given the quality of the products and the mission behind the brand, there’s no way I won’t be ordering more You Smell Soap!
Unfortunately, based on my research, I do not believe that Sachajuan is cruelty-free, so I won’t be reviewing this product.
If you like BBQ potato chips, these are good! Plus, they get bonus points for using only all-natural ingredients.
I checked out the Native Union product lineup. I have to say, I love the metal-wood iPhone case design. However, I wasn’t sure how much protection it would offer, which is ultimately the most important factor for me with iPhone cases. Maybe if the coupon offered more of a discount, I would’ve tried it based on aesthetics alone, but $15 didn’t make enough of a dent to push me over the fence on this $60 case.
At $39.95 a month, the POPSUGAR Must-Have box costs more than some subscription boxes. However, I do feel like the quality and size of the products backs up the higher cost. You won’t be paying for free sample sized products with the Must-Have box. If you enjoy subscription boxes and like the selection of products above, you can sign up here. I only wish that all the products were cruelty-free!
POPSUGAR provided me with a complimentary POPSUGAR Must Have box. The opinions I have shared about the box are my own and POPSUGAR did not tell me what to say or how to say it.
