I don’t know if it’s just me, but when I notice a stray brow hair, I immediately get the must pluck urge. It will bother me to no end. This happened the other day and of course I was without any of my many tweezers on hand. So I ran into nearby Dollar Tree to grab a cheap one (excessive, I know). That’s when I saw it – Milani HD Advanced Lip Color… at the dollar store? I’m not sure how it happened, but I’ll take it! After sorting through two racks of a frosty pink shade, I came upon Ignition (113).
Ignition is a bright coral-y pink. It’s like watermelon jolly rancher in a lipstick – and fittingly, that’s also exactly what it smells like. It’s not quite sheer, but does allow a bit of your natural lip color to show through. Wear time isn’t spectacular, but it’s not any worse than most light, semi-glossy formulas. For those of you who don’t have easy access to Milani, the brand plans to expand in the US and internationally in 2014.
On another note, I just want to apologize for the recent slowdown in post frequency. Between work, graduate school interviews, and travel, life has been a little hectic lately. My passion for this blog and connecting with all of you is as strong as ever (I’m overflowing with post ideas and plans, products to share, etc.) – I just haven’t been able to dedicate as much time as I want to it lately. Realistically, it’ll probably be about three weeks until things calm down, but then I’ll be back in full-force!
