OK, how pretty do these FLOWER Beauty products look? I’ve just received them and haven’t had a chance to try them out yet – but I couldn’t resist posting a preview! I’m loving the soft natural pinks for springtime.

I haven’t seen the lipsticks – heading to google search right now… ;)

      • http://twitter.com/GodChild81MA Icequeen81MA

If you love berry shades this is a great choice :)

  • http://twitter.com/QCPChic Martha

I’ve picked up several items from Flower and I love them all.

    • http://buyingcrueltyfree.com/ Catherine

It seems they’ve been getting such positive feedback! What FLOWER products have you tried, Martha? ♥

      • http://twitter.com/QCPChic Martha

I loved the High Shine Kiss Sticks! Especially Coral Floret and Ginger Lily. I picked up a gloss in Baby’s Breath because it’s supposed to be a dupe for NARS Turkish Delight, not really my shade per se but the formula isn’t bad so I might pick up some other shades later! The polishes are good. I like the BB creme, though it’s closer to foundation than BB creme I think–but it covered my redness really well without making my skin oilier, which I loved, since my skin is sooooo picky about foundations!! <3

The lip glosses are really nice, although the flowery scent bothers me a bit. “Pretty in Petunia” is a great shade if you want a bit more color. It’s my favorite shade :)

          • http://twitter.com/QCPChic Martha

I might look for that one next! It looks really pretty online. Thanks for the recommendation! <3

          • http://buyingcrueltyfree.com/ Catherine

Thanks for the heads up about the fragrance, Christine! I tend to be kind of picky about scents in my makeup products, especially artificial scents, so good to know. ♥

        • http://buyingcrueltyfree.com/ Catherine

Ooh there was a time when I would’ve killed for a drugstore dupe for NARS Turkish Delight! I remember getting a tiny sample of that lipgloss, like .0007 fl oz, and making it last for months haha. I’d be interested to try their BB Creme, although I’m kind of skeptical of the “bb cream” label in general – I find they usually are tinted moisturizers, primers, or foundations, and it’d be easier if they’d just label them that way (but that’s a whole other topic). But I’m loving their About Face Foundation, so I have high hopes for their other complexion products. Thank you so much for sharing that, Martha! ♥

          • http://twitter.com/QCPChic Martha

The BB cream does seem more like a foundation. One belated word of advice: I tried it out yesterday by squeezing it onto my hand to dip a brush (rather than just putting a dab on a sponge). It WILL NOT just rinse off your skin with water–you must use soap or makeup remover. Otherwise it just smears and clings, which is odd, because it doesn’t feel oily or heavy at all on my face. I guess it is just very water-resistant!

            • http://buyingcrueltyfree.com/ Catherine

Wow I wouldn’t have expected that, especially from a “bb cream”/light coverage foundation. The only foundations I’ve used like that were the Make Up For Ever ones and they’re relatively heavy coverage. For everyday, it could be kind of a pain making sure they were totally removed. But I can see it being useful for really hot summer days ♥

I have seen these around on blogs recently, and I’m curious to hear what you think!

    • http://buyingcrueltyfree.com/ Catherine

To be honest, I was a bit surprised by how beautiful the products are. I expected nice items but so far they’ve really exceeded my expectations. Is FLOWER available in Belgium, Sunny? ♥

      • http://twitter.com/mostlysunnyblog Sunny @Mostly Sunny

Hey Catherine, I don’t think so! Belgium has a very thin pick of drugstore brands!

        • http://buyingcrueltyfree.com/ Catherine

Ah that’s too bad. I dream of the day when every brand will be easily available to everyday ;)

  • http://MyLuciteDreams.com/ MyLuciteDreams

Lovely … I can’t wait to hear more about the collection!

    • http://buyingcrueltyfree.com/ Catherine

For a brand available only at Walmart, these are shades and textures I feel would be right in place at a department store beauty counter, which is really lovely! ♥

  • http://twitter.com/MakeUpGuineaPig Christine

I’ve tried each one and I really like all of them. I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of most of the products I’ve tried from the line. I’ll be curious to hear your thoughts on everything! :)

    • http://buyingcrueltyfree.com/ Catherine

Ah Christine I’m heading over to check out your FLOWER posts, I know I’ve seen some of them… I’ve been so impressed so far – everything is just so soft and wearable! ♥

  • TinaBowling

I’ve tried the lipstick and crème shadows, I like both. The shadows would be my favorite of the items I tried.

    • http://buyingcrueltyfree.com/ Catherine

I’m enjoying the light pink one I received a lot, it’s so silky, though the packaging isn’t my favorite. Which shades did you try, Tina? ♥

  • http://kissandmakeupsbeautyblog.wordpress.com/ Kiss & Make-up

I have never heard of this brand, but it looks and sounds good!

    • http://buyingcrueltyfree.com/ Catherine

It’s very new! I think right now it’s US-only, but hopefully they will expand ♥

  • http://twitter.com/MakeupMatters1 Makeup Matters

I tried a few things and I have to say I am pretty impressed! I’ve tried the cream shadow, chubby lip pencils, BB cream and some lipsticks. I was only able to buy on walmart.com though, my local Walmart doesn’t carry this brand yet.

    • http://buyingcrueltyfree.com/ Catherine

I’ve been impressed too and a lot of their other products which I haven’t tried have peaked my interest. I live a good 30 minutes from a Walmart (which is a bit shocking, really – it seems there’s a Target every few blocks…), so I’d most likely be buying online too. It’s a bit overwhelming trying to sort through a full line without seeing the items in person, so I’ll definitely be relying on beauty blogs. I’ll be on the look out for your reviews, Liza! ♥

  • http://mybeautysample.com/ Becca @ The Beauty Sample

Haven’t tried anything from this brand yet but I’m curious! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts, Catherine! :)

    • http://buyingcrueltyfree.com/ Catherine

Thanks, Becca! So far, I’m impressed – especially for drugstore prices! ♥

  • http://twitter.com/MoxieReviews Moxie Reviews™

I’ve tried the eyeshadows and I really love them. Will look for your review.

    • http://buyingcrueltyfree.com/ Catherine

      Thanks, Moxie! ♥

  • gabyfauchon

have never heard about this brand before, how cute do all of the products look!

    • http://buyingcrueltyfree.com/ Catherine

I know! They are so pretty and spring-y. It’s quite new. I believe it’s US-only right now but hopefully they’ll expand soon – and I imagine Canada would be a first stop! ♥

  • TracyBeautyReflections

I’m excited to hear your thoughts! I keep hoping this will make it up here someday!

    • http://buyingcrueltyfree.com/ Catherine

Thanks, Tracy! I hope they expand, too ♥

  • LifeOfBun

    That looks so great!

    • http://buyingcrueltyfree.com/ Catherine

So pretty, aren’t they? Thanks for your comment! ♥

  • HawaiianWannab

I have the Skincognito Stick foundation, and have been using it over a year now. It is a great quality make-up that really covers well. I haven’t tried any of the other products in the line, but I am interested when I need a new product.
