FLOWER Beauty Win Some, Rouge Some Crème Blush in Rose-O-Den-Dron ($7.98) is a natural brown-pink. The formula is absolutely lovely. It’s extremely smooth and blendable. After 30 seconds or so, it sets to a dewey satin finish, which keeps it from sliding off skin.
The tiny pan is great for travel. Most of my brushes are larger than the pan, so I think most will find fingers work best. I usually do use a small brush, but that’s just my personal preference. This is absolutely a no-brush-required product.
My favorite way to apply this is with the Real Techniques Expert Face brush. I pick up product, then tap the brush on the back of my hand to remove excess and also mix it slightly with the foundation I’m wearing (I squeeze foundation onto the back of my hand then apply from there, so there’s some left after I apply). I pat the blush onto my skin firmly. I find this really helps it meld with my skin and avoids any of that weird texture that can happen when you layer multiple products.
L-R: FLOWER Crème Blush in Rose-O-Den-Dron, FLOWER Crème Eyeshadow in Wild Geranium (my review)
Even applied heavily, this blush is very natural, so it looks subtle, especially in photos. It’s more visible in person. I’m also wearing it in the photos from my FLOWER About Face Foundation review.
