1. RMS “Un”-Coverup
“Un”-Coverup came on my radar after I read a review by Taylor at My Lucite Dreams. I’m a big fan of makeup with skincare benefits, I think it’s the way of the future. RMS creates all their products using organic, natural ingredients – and it’s not just marketing hype. The ingredients list of “Un”-Coverup reads like a skincare product, with the inclusion of nourishing oils and cocoa butter.
RMS Animal Testing Policy
RMS does not test products or ingredients on animals and does not allow others to test on their behalf. They are not carried in mainland China. Their products are available in Hong Kong, which does not share mainland China’s animal testing laws and does not require products animal testing.
2. JOSIE MARAN Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelèe
Another product that caught my eye via beauty blog, I saw the Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelèe’s in Christine of Makeup Guinea Pig’s May Favorites and Top 5 Summer Products posts. You can also check out her in-depth review here. The name of this product alone is enough to entice me – it just sounds beautiful. Described as a cream-gel hybrid, it’s designed to provide color and hydration. All the shades in the small but well-edited color range are lovely and wearable (pictured: Tangerine).
3. HOURGLASS Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation
Hourglass is one of those brands I’m always meaning to try more products from. The Liquid Powder Foundation promises a “long-lasting, velvet-matte finish.” While I’m usually partial to slightly glowy foundations, this crazy hot summer weather has my skin so oily – but I prefer to keep powder to a minimum. Could a foundation with oil-absorbing properties be the answer?
4. BARE MINERALS The Power of Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette
Since Bare Minerals released their new pressed formula, its received many rave reviews. I’ve been waiting for the right palette to try it out. Given my penchant for nudes and neutrals, The Power of Neutrals seems like it may be just that. Plus, Temptalia’s “A” rating didn’t hurt.
5. FLOWER Beauty Petite Fleur
I noticed this on the FLOWER Beauty website and was intrigued. The Petite Fleurs are essentially three shades in one. There are Petite Fleurs for concealer, shadow, and lips. I’m particularly interested in the concealer version, as I love using different shades of base-makeup for natural looking shading and contouring.
