Eye-Catchers of Spring 2013

Eye Catches Spring 2013 2 Eye Catchers of Spring 2013

1. FACE atelier Brushed Sable Matte Bronzer

I've come to trust FACE atelier to produce only the best, professional quality products. In my endless search for the perfect matte bronzer, Brushed Sable seems the natural next stop.

2. NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Isola Bella

I must be on the same wavelength as NARS, because I adore every single of color of their new Satin Lip Pencils. Isola Bella is a warm natural pink-peach. Emi at Project Swatch has swatches of all the shades.

3. Inglot Sparkling Dust

A newly released highlighting powder which Inglot calls "subtle yet highly pigmented." The supposedly universally flattering shade can be used alone or mixed with foundation.

4. kai Eau De Parfum

This kai scent isn't a new product, but I was recently reminded of it by Paint It Black. It feels like everyone from beauty bloggers to Oprah have sung the praises of this essential oil blend.

5. Tarte Glamazon Pure Performance 12-Hour Lipstick

I've seen nothing but rave reviews for the Tarte Glamazon lipsticks, which are billed as highly pigmented yet moisturizing. They have a few pretty natural pinks, but my favorite is Wild, a classic Snow White red.

6. BECCA Ultimate Crème Eyeliner

Pictured is Belle Epoque, a shimmering plum. Ultimate Crème Eyeliner comes in four shades, including a shimmering emerald called Neo Classic.

Me too – it released in stores yesterday… if only I lived near an Inglot counter! ♥

Oh, I like how that bronzer looks! I have been wanting to buy a new one because my current one is a bit too orange…

I’m always impressed with FACE atelier, so I’d say, give it a try! ♥

So, uh. Last night I checked the NARS EU website and realized they have finally come up with a cheaper shipping policy (I think it used to be 8 euros for any order, but now as long as it’s above 50 it’s shipped for free). I ended up getting the new concealer in Honey (I use the stick version of Custard for imperfections on my face, but I am getting this mainly for my undereye area so I thought the peachy undertone would work better) and Lodhi! I’ll keep you posted about how these works. Isola Bella looks like a great nude!

Wooo!! I am so interested in the new NARS concealers. I had the Duo with Custard and I think Ginger, a great concealer and THE BEST as a base for eyeshadow… it has the pigment to cover discoloration and enough waxiness to hold the powder all day but doesn’t interfere with blending or cause that dry crepe-y look. Another thing that stands out to me about the NARS concealers is the color range. I feel like NARS understands the nuances of warm undertones very well, especially the light-medium range. Can’t wait to hear how you like Lodhi, Sunny! ♥

I’m intrigued by the Inglot Sparkling Dust too and hope I can pick one up at IMATS next weekend! :) I love the look of the NARS Satin Lip Pencils too. I have a deluxe sample of one of the Velvet Gloss Pencils and it is really great, plus it lasts really well. I find the shades of the current pencils a bit disappointing tho, but the Satin Pencils all look so pretty in pictures – now if only stores had them in stock! And I think satin finishes are probably my favorite for lips so I’m definitely intrigued too. :)
