I’ve had good luck with the Essence brand, so when I came across their Stay All Day Long-Lasting Shadows, I figured – at $2.99, why not try it?
I picked up Coppy Right (01). It’s a gorgeous, metallic taupe-y brown with lots of silver shimmer. I’m always a bit hesitant about metallic finishes – super high shine can make my lids look dry and heavy. As long as I stick to one layer, Coppy Right doesn’t have that effect.
The formula is somewhat dry-feeling in the jar, yet very smooth. It reminds me of the elf cream liner formula. It’s a bit of a strange consistency – not perfect, but it works. I’ve tried this with a brush and fingers. For me, it works best applied with fingers, then blended along the edges with a clean brush.
There are lots of beautiful cream shadow formulas on the market at every price point. If you’re new to cream shadows and want to try them without spending a fortune, I’d say the Essence Stay All Day Long-Lasting Shadows are worth a look.
