ZuZu Luxe Oil Free Liquid Foundation ZuZu Luxe from Gabriel Cosmetics | Oil Free Liquid Foundation Swatches (Full Line)

Cruelty-free foundations. It’s the topic I get most questions about and traffic from. As a foundation fanatic, I’m always excited to share my recommendations. But of course one of the most crucial factors in selecting a foundation is color match. And many Leaping Bunny certified brands simply aren’t widely available in stores, which can make determining your correct shade difficult.

To help, I’m posting swatches of the full color ranges of five cruelty-free foundations: ZuZu Luxe Oil-Free Liquid, FACE Atelier Ultra, 100% Pure Healthy Skin SPF 20, Mineral Fusion, and Gabriel Cosmetics Moisturizing Liquid. All the foundations are Leaping Bunny certified and sold at White Rabbit Beauty. This is something I’ve wanted to do forever. I am so grateful to Jean at White Rabbit Beauty, who made this possible!

The first range I have for you is the ZuZu Luxe Oil-Free Liquid Foundation ($29.75). Zuzu Luxe is a line from Gabriel Cosmetics. It’s Leaping Bunny-certified, gluten-free, and vegan. CONTINUE READING…

It contains three products that IT calls their “hero products”: Heavenly Luxe Airbrush Foundation Brush, Celebration Foundation, and Hello Lashes 5-in-1 Mascara.

It also includes two brand new products: Tightline Full Lash Length Black Mascara Primer and Vitality Flush 4-in-1 Reviver Lip and Cheek Stain Stick. Both are exclusive to this kit.

“Hello Beautiful!” will be featured on QVC on Monday, March 18th. For just one day, it will be available for a special price, announced the day of. Retail value is $155.00.

Boots No 7 Lifting and Firming Foundation SPF 15

Boots No7 Lifting Firming Foundation13 Boots No 7 Lifting and Firming Foundation SPF 15

[box]The Boots No 7 website states that they do not test on animals; they have a pool of thousands of human volunteers who test their products. Boots No 7 is a UK-based brand manufactured in the EU, where animal testing of cosmetics has been banned since March, 11 2009. However, Boots No 7 is not currently on either the Leaping Bunny or PETA do-not-test list. I will update once I have more information.

Update 11/04/12: While I’ve long believed Boots No 7 to be cruelty-free, I’ve heard claims they may not be. The bottom line: I just don’t know for sure. For that reason, I’m opting not to purchase from Boots No 7 until they become listed by the Leaping Bunny or PETA.

Update 11/20/12: You can read more at Boots No 7 Animal Testing Policy Details.[/box]

I first became interested in this foundation after hearing rave reviews on numerous Youtube channels, first from Ginabinawina99. It’s supposed to be high quality at Target price and has been compared to Chanel Lift Lumiere. CONTINUE READING…
